Well thank you Kelly! I love naming any animal.. and in registered names i like to make a connection between both dam and sire so both are represented equally... as for barn names i always give exotic names often from the ancient celtic language that represent the horse and its personality, so their name defines who they are... its a great conversation starter too to have a horse with an exotic name... ;D

Exactly what i was thinking holy cow she is going to eat all her bedding and have nothing soft and comfy to lay in and let that little one into the world... lol! A friend of mines horse had twins this afternoon and both are up and extremly healthy! Mom is doing great too... Vet says that they both should be fine just going to have to help mom with some milk substitute... They are darling though... Black and White Overos too cute! Cant wait to see Rileys foal though

I agree with you 100% sire and dam should be represented. I also try and see who they are and name for their personality. I love exotic names, but unfortunately I do not know too many.

Thats great news about the twins, very rare that they both end up healthy.

Riley does have her hay scattered all over her stall. Thats why it looks like she's eating her bedding. But OMG you would give it a little rest. Heh Heh

Did you breed and raise your stallion or did you buy him from someone else? Is Jess bred to him too? I cant wait to see what the foal i am gong to put a deposit on for next year is going to be! Filly or Colt does not matter to me as long as it is healthy!
