Nights are chilly here and days hit in the 50's. Several days of sunshine and that is why Riley has been able to pasture. She is anti-social with the other mares. She is currently letting them know to leave her alone. I do not know who came up with "Hoovering" but that is so darn appropriate and cute!

I had no idea how marestare was going to have such a huge effect on me. Have Riley on the mind, and fussin all the time. The immense curiousity of seeing this foal is like all my lifetime Christmas mornings rolled into one. It really puts an entirely new perpective in my life in regards to horse breeding. Kelly's place is just big enough to be great but not so huge that you loose that sense of family atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone and all the horses and that is so special.

You know, I was just thinking how cool this is for you Ellen. because you know Ellen, her family and Riley in person, and can watch from home too  I can only imagine how excited you are too! |
