I love to see good people be successful in their goals and Dave and Kelly are good people. Only got to my horse dream fullfillment at age 57. That came with Sid, Saddlebred, I purchased from Kelly. Till that time my experience was lesson horses and in my 4th to 9th grade life. So I had to start with haltering and all ground maintenance. OMG teeth floating put me to tears at first site but I recouped. Now just tending Sid really centers me. My Qtr mare is young and she is a handful. I still have intimidation around her with all that energy but she and Sid are both lovebugs.

Teeth Floating is essential and the horses are given some drugs. The head is placed in a sling and the mouth is held open by some sort of sterile apparatus. I think the noise of the grinding and the smell are the worse part. The Veterinarian finishes up with a hand file and mouth rinsing. Like with Sid my gelding I have his Sheath cleaned at same time under meds. It was just a new experience for me. No problem now. Meds wear off in about 2 hours.

The Veterinarian and the Farrier that Kelly uses are terrific. There is even a great guy that comes for Chiropractic Adjustments. Kelly really gets one involved. I have helped pasture and then stable other horses. Un-be-known to me, when I was holding Riley she was to be bred by Blue. Blue is a gentle sweet Stallion

Riley seems to think her arse is there to hold up the stall wall. She is funny.
