Lucy is acting strange and of course there is a thunderstorm tonight causing our web cam to lose signal. Her udders are a little larger, not truly bagged up, but today there was some "crystal" residue on the teats. Her sides have fallen away and she's more slab-sided that she's been in the past. You can really see her spine; or you could if we had a picture So far I can get the signal every few minutes and am watching Lucy that way. If things don't improve I'll be sleeping in the barn since my extra eyes, in different time zones, won't be able to see her. I don't really think she's going tonight but one never knows!

I hate that you're not able to watch from the comfort of the house. This weather is so crazy - really concerns me, but not alot we can do except ride it out.
God Bless....we'll be watching and I have a feeling that Lucy will wait for the storm to pass.

How about an update? How is Lucy doing with the storms? I see the cams aren't on - hopefully all is well.
