If I counted correctly, there have been 20 fillies and 8 colts born in the Marestare family so far this year. Odds are looking good for fillies. AND, since in the last few years I have had 12 colts and 2 fillies....I NEED A FILLY YEAR!  And only have three shots at it! Everyone do the filly dance now! a1..and a2...and a 1,2,3! ;D |

LOL Claire! Pretty is as pretty does...if it works we don't care that it ain't pretty!!! If what they say about a mare carrying a foal low means a colt...well Heart Acke has a colt in there...grumble, grumble...but if it's healthy is the main thing...especially after Boots! Keep on dancin' girl!

It has been a heavy filly year. Strange how it was all fillies, then in the last several foalings it was mostly colts, then it seems we're going back to fillies. Really strange!  |
