lol now that everyone is going "what the heck is she talking about?!" let me rephrase... Do any of you who have mares due begin to dream at night about the mare foaling and the foal itself? My mares are due the end of April to Mid March, and with my growing anticipation of the foals arrivals, I've started dreaming about them.. lol The other night I dreamt of my bay tobiano mare foaling and being present to welcome the new baby... And last night I dreamt that I came home from town and my mom told me that there were two new babies in the barn and that my third mare hadn't foaled, but she looked very close (keep in mind these mares are all due within a week or two of each other) and when I got out to the barn all three had foaled!! and to top it all off, I got all FILLIES in my dream, lolol.. So I'm hoping this dream comes true even if it means I miss them foaling! Was just wondering if I was the only "crazy" one out there that had dreams like this or if any of you out there in "Marestare Land" had similar dreams, and if so, did they come "true?"

I've had two foaling dreams. IN the first Lucy foaled a cinnamon pinto filly. The other dream wasn't so great - I found Lucy dying and had to do a C-section myself to deliver the foal. I woke up before I knew if the foal lived or died. Yuck!

I have no idea when my mare is due. I know that she is very close. For the past 3 nights i have had a dream about my mare foaling. In the first dream she was outside and I walked around the corner to see her deliver a Black/white paint filly. In the second dream she was in her stall and i was watching as she delivered again a black/white filly.
Last night I fell asleep in the barn and I had a dream that was very sketchy. One minute i was outside her stall and the next I was laying flat on my back with a black/white colt on top of me.
I figure at least the baby has stayed the same color in all my dreams....I have no idea who she is bred to as she was purchased open and we soon found out that she was in foal.
So I will have another long night to-night....wish it would warm up a little as it is chilly sleeping in the barn.

After reading your post, I dreamed of foals last night.
