I have a mare that was bred when i got her so i have no idea when she is due. She is completely bagged up and is very soft around her tail. For 2 days she had small beeds of wax and to-day there was nothing. At 7am could not express any liquid, by 3pm she had a thick yellowish (very sticky)liquid. By 10pm there was nothing, at 12am(midnight) I can express a clear, very sticky liquid quite easily. I know that it should change to white but how fast will it change?? She is a maiden mare.

It doesn't always change to white before foaling. Remember, ever case is different. I've actually had a maiden mare that didn't bag up at all - no notice - just had the baby and then filled up. Imagine how painful that was!!!
And I had a mare this year that is not a maiden that foaled, no notice - no bag, nothing - so they are all different.
One of the keys is that VERY STICKY fluid - colostrum. If you're getting thick yellowy very sticky fluid - she's extremely close. Keep a close eye on her.
Best of luck!!!
