Tonya and Tina are outgrowing their space. Sooooo.....we'll be playing musical corrals later this afternoon.
Not sure when the camera will be moved to their new space. If not today, should be sometime this week. I'll be moving Sea Freckles into what is now Tonya and Tina's corral. She's a 17 y.o. Chestnut Leopard. She's very mellow and is content to just eat or stand in the sun. I lovingly refer to her as "Rotund One." ;D
Freckles is currently in foal to DREA Storm Cl Patchy of Renaissance Foundation Appaloosa Farm. I'll put the camera back on her in early Spring. Her target due date is May 15, 2007.
I want to thank you all for the interest you've shown in my girls. I look forward to sharing Tina's early months with you and Freckles' foaling in the Spring!

Sorry to disappoint Cheri....Turns out, all I had to do was swivel the camera around. Most of their new digs can be seen from this angle. Again, best time to see them the clearest is early am and after 6:00pm PST or so when the sun isn't so high. I know the wireless doesn't project the best picture but it's going to have to do

All the girls seem to be settling in to their new accomodations nicely. Everyone has more room to kick up their heels ;D. Jewel is none to happy to be so far away from Freckles though. I expect she'll adjust rather quickly. Tonya is taking breaks from her evening meal checking out the boundries and new views. Tina is happy as a clam. Didn't know if she was going to stop before the pipe panel her first run. They are on a very mild slope and she was gaining speed downhill. She put on the breaks and simply stopped, spun around and went back uphill. Mom was pretty tickled with all the new space too. It's about double what they had before. Now that I know I can simply swivel the camera, I'll put Freckles on whenever Tonya and Tina are out. Not sure she'll be very exciting to watch but she'll be better than a blank screen Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Aw Shucks! LOL! It's ok Jodie! I can only check in at random times from out here on the East Coast. So of course when I pull it up at 11:26(EST) it won't even come up. *technology... my horse is more advanced than it.* LOL!

I try to have the camera on 7am - 8pm PST. I don't have the lights on at night unless I'm on foal watch So, it looks like you just missed them last night. I'm sure you'll be able to catch them at some point. Thanks for your interest........I'll try to post a heads up for you when Freckles makes her debut

Thanks for your persistance Cheri! Actually, they're waiting at the gate for FOOD and scratches! Tonya is the food monger and Tina is the scratches monger Wish the camera had a better picture for you to see. It doesn't transmit over the internet very well. The direct picture on my computer is much more clear. Maybe one day I'll be able to get a direct hook up camera instead of the wireless so you can really see what they look like.
