If a thread has already been started on a certain subject, say for instance a mare foaling, please don't start 5 more about the same thing. Post under the thread that has already been started. The additional threads on the same subject are unnecessary and clutter the message board, pushing other posts farther down and even onto a second page. You may have to look on the second or third page to find the thread already started for a mare, but please look before starting a new one so all the info will be there.
From now on, these multiple postings on the same subject will be locked or deleted. Thanks for your cooperation!

Sometimes when a mare goes into foal 2 or 3 people make an alert thread, but I see what your saying.

I AGREE! Before you start a new thread...check to see if one is already started. With Francie today there were 5 or 6 threads and there's no way to keep up with that! It's not about who saw it first, but what's going on!!! Having to combine threads just makes more work for the administrators and less information for us. Let's all try to cooperate and we'll see and learn a whole lot more. Thanks SBL!

I couldnt agree more Deidre!! It was getting kind of confusing to know which thread to post on with Francie wasnt it? As soon as I got the signal from Franny to set off the high alert, I posted here as quickly as I could...(I type slow...lol)

I agree. It does get confusing to all the threads. Mary.. You type just fine! LOL
I think before anybody wants to do a new thread, be sure to refresh first, because somebody might have got your topic on there. I've notice several duplicate threads are started at the same time. So it's a win/loose situation sometimes. Good thing to bring up though saddlebred!!

It is a completely reasonable idea. I just started one about Lace when I saw her foaling, but I deleted it after seeing the original.
