I'm not sure where I should post this, so I'll start here. I haven't been able to access anything on www.marestare.com since Tuesday. My computer did some automatic updates, and ever since anything that starts with www.marestare.com gets an "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" error. We've got 3 computers in the house running XP and I get the same problem on all three machines. I'm guessing that somewhere either my DSL modem or my router is blocking the site. I can get to this message board because it's not actually on www.marestare.com, but none of the links work back to marestare, including any web cams hosted by marestare. I haven't had problems with any other websites, and I can get to wefoal sites ok. I've checked everywhere I can think of where there might be a list to see if the site is blocked, but have come up empty. I'm sure it's not actually a problem with www.marestare.com itself, or others would be posting messages about it. If any computer gurus can help, I would appreciate it. I'm having Marestare withdrawal!!!!

I know my friend has trouble getting onto the actual marestare website but she is with AOL. She can get most marestare cams but sometimes when she goes to the marestare site it kicks her off line. I know it wasn't any help but she has issues at times too.

Rich, I'm using MSN Premium with Quest DSL in Minnesota. I use a Quest provided DSL modem and we have a Netgear router connecting 3 computer to the the DSL modem. Some things are wireless, but not my primary machine. I'm not able to access Marestare with either the MSN browser or Internet Explorer. The weird thing is that I have the same problem on all three of our home computers, so it makes me think the issue is either with the router or the modem.
I'm fairly computer literate, but I'm a bit weak on the networking and internet connection areas. Sorry, the link you provided doesn't work either. Thanks for helping. I'm open to any suggestions.

Hi, ShowMama,
There MAY be an issue with QWEST blocking marestare.com. We have had another report of this exact same situation in another state with QWEST. You should call them, ask to speak to the highest level tech they have, and if they give you grief, ask for a supervisor.
Tell them that they are blocking a site that you want to visit. Give them the domain name, "marestare.com," and the IP address, 64.182.51.2.
Tell them to take it off their "blacklist."
Let us know how you fare with them.
Thanks Rich

I have not been able to connect to Marestare today, but only on my wireless laptop. I haven't had this problem before. Heck I'm watching marestare everywhere with that computer. I just can't imagine what it might be. I am writing this from my other computer. Any suggestions? Anyone??

We have a post under Server status - the CI Host building in Texas is down - that's where two of our servers are...so we are down until they get things fixed. and it's the ENTIRE building....not just us

Hey all, I am also the one using Qwest in Idaho that can't get into mare stare and its a real bummer. Been trying for weeks, I've had computer tech help and nothing. Firewalls, everything has been checked. Been emailing with qwest and msn. Of course they have had many things for me to try and nothing has worked. I finally had it, emailed and asked them about this site being blocked and why. To please fix this problem!!! Haven't heard nothing back this time! I can get wefoal.......... I'm going to call. I've missed several births and mine aren't due yet so I need a fix! LOL

To all Qwest DSL users:
We may have identified a block that has been put on some or all of qwest.com by our hosting company. I have opened a support ticket on the issue and will let everyone know what the resolution is.
If anyone else from Qwest is having issues with the site, please PM me or post here.

Oh THANK YOU Rich! I sure hope Qwest fixes this soon. I love the message board, but I would rather watch the foaling than read about it! Since I'm a bit shut in from surgery I can't do much and I'm really sick of TV. Can't wait to get back on Marestare!!!!

This afternoon, if I try for any page other than the forum pages, I get: The connection has timed out The server at www.marestare.com is taking too long to respond.
