Is there anybody that knows anything about money from Canada, money from Cayman Islands, And Pence? I have a 5 pence coin, and 25 cents from Canada, and a coin from the Cayman Islands that says 25 on it. I got these by mistake from walmart. Any help would be appreciated or let me know how to find out. Thank you!

Canadian Quarters are very popular around here....we seem to get at least one or two a week from stores, most times, if I see them soon enough, I will ask for a US Quarter instead (gumball machines dont take Canadian Quarters...lol) What year is the Cayman Island quarter? I did a quick search for "Cayman Island coins" and it seems that the 1972 quarter is somewhat of a collector's item, there are even quite a few of them on eBay right now. Check it out!! Cayman currency is less than US when converted. $1.00 in US equals 80 cents Cayman. As far as the five-pence goes...do you know where its from? I've never heard of a five-pence....only 6 pence.

Mary, the Cayman Island coin is dated 1999, and the 5 pence coin is no bigger than a dime.

Pence is British Currency !!
Does it have the Queens Head(Elizabeth II) on the back of it ?
Our Current 5 pence has a thistle with a crown on top, on the front of it.

sorry for replying so late Vic, yes the 5 Pence has the queen on the front, and the crwon with thistle on the back., I also just found in my step fathers cigar box(he passed away a few years back) a 20 pence, with the queen on the front, a rose with crown on top on back, and it is funny shaped like 6 or 7 sided.
