I agree with Molly, I have never seen a cornish bantie but she looked like the picture. Now if you got the Quail Twerps (LOL) you are mighy lucky as I have been looking for one of them over here for some time! It can be difficult to tell as chicks as so MANY of them look alike. As they get feathered you will be able to tell more (unless they are a cross bred bantie). Regardless have fun with them!

thanx yeah but they looked to be pretty specific fitting to which breed the pics of the babies looked alot like what they looked like!!! They have gotten FIESTY one is flying out of the thing and jumpiung on things and ripping apart the newspaper she/he is a NUT NUT from the Nuthouse lol i still love them thoguh lol

I posted about the mites in the other thread. Now with the crows the only way to keep them away from your chicks is to make sure there is either netting or mesh fence on the top of their run. That will prevent them from swooping in on them.

LOL yep they are about pullet size now and tomorrow they will be a month old so we are going to start building the pen lol they are doing great and the newspaper i layed down just wasn't working so i got this bedding like little rolls of paper and it has been working great! i will update with pics later in the week or next week
