Hey thanks everyone for the laughs and the advice!! I haven't been back to check this post in a little while so I had lots of replies when I checked today!! LOL Kelly I wish I had a furry vacuum cleaner and dust buster here, that would really help out LOL!!
I really wanted a Dyson for Christmas, but my in-laws decided that this Hoover would be better....so that's what I got. After much headache and frustration we finally found a Hoover Store that does repair under Warranty. So now we are just waiting for that to come back...another two weeks without a vacuum. Oh well, I don't have any pets so at least pet hair is not an issue. (I know it's sad but we live in an apartment that doesn't allow them)
I am with you on hating carpet TSSP! I told my husband as soon as we buy our first house I would really love to put hard wood floors in, because I just can't deal with the carpeting anymore!
I hope that our vacuum saga will end soon as I am pretty sick of dealing with it now! (I have been on the phone with hoover customer service for like 10 hours it seems like and back and forth to 3 different repair shops because nobody could figure out what was going on!)
Apparently after a whole bunch of different opinions from various repair people, the gear that is supposed to turn the self cleaning hepa filter is broken. That should be covered under warrenty. We hope. If it's not, I will have to look into these other vacuums you guys are recommending, something else to save up for...sigh.
On a good note, I finally got a good digital camera after saving up for a looooooooong time and I am so excited!! It has 12x optical zoom, so no more...."Oh that picture of that lippazaner at that show I took last week is going to be GREAT, wait until you see the awesome jump it did" only to get the film back and see a little white speck in the middle of a bunch of dirt that is supposed to be a horse lol!! So I am headed out today maybe to take a bunch of pics of my friend's new Arabian Filly Cashmere and her new twin goats, Elvis and Priscilla! Can't wait!
By the way, everyone's dogs are beautiful, thanks for sharing!
