Tomorrow we are going out to the farm with the stud we are going to breed to our mares. I just am so excited to think I'll have at least two little buckskin foals next year. He is a 4 yr old Cremello TWH, and he is GORGEOUS! We've already seen him, but only for a few minutes because we had to get home that evening. We may be getting a foaling cam this fall, so there is the possibility y'all get to see them foal. *cross fingers* Here is his pic~

Very nice! I have a soft spot for cremellos and perlinos (although I will always adore the more traditional colors of Morgans). What's his name?

Oh, no that is not where he is no more. This is a totally different farm in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, but that is him. I guess Vista Farm bought him from there and is now standing him up for stud. Very Misleading.... here's their website... www.vistafarm.com . Mais de vien beaucoup! (Je sais le francais aussi) *I know French, too!

Oh boy. A bit over my basic French. I took four years of Latin in high school, but it doesn't come in handy very often! ;D Although one of my college classes this semester is Mythology, so I've used it quite a bit there, just to bug the teacher (she prefers the Greek side of things and I'm almost strictly Roman, especially since I translated the Aeneid my senior year of high school) and to be geeky. He's a very nice stallion! You'll have to let us know how the visit goes!

I'm currently taking French II in high school, I still know just enough to get me by. Although I'm passing French II with a 100 (only God knows how). It is very fun, and I know I'm a youngster, only 16. The fun thing is, we will be corresponding with a high school over in France soon.

Sounds fun! I took French in middle school and I know enough to get by fairly well. I miss my Latin though! My college doesn't teach Latin but that's ok since I'm hopefully heading to another college after next year which will have Latin (I'm fresh out of high school - I escaped last June and have enjoyed my freshman year of college greatly). Once you get through high school, life is more fun!

Good luck with the bucksin. We bred our black and white tobiano to a cremello was assure it would be a buckskin paint or plain buckskin we got a perlino tobiano with two blue eyes. Go figure . But he is beautiful anyway

I loved doing Latin during my lunch times. I'm the odd sort of geek who will translate Latin just for fun. That, and I was also smart about it - I'd try to figure out what we would be doing in class next and translate it before class so I wouldn't have to stress out and think on my feet when it was my turn to read or answer a question.
