I am going to take a minute and introduce myself.
My name is Amanda. I have been breeding Spanish Arabians since 1989. There have been alot of ups and downs in that time period. We have had about a 100 foals in that time-frame. And so far, have lost only 2. (knock on wood).
At this point in my life, I am a Single parent with 2 beautiful daughters ages 11 and 7. Who help me run the stud farm. I have a teenager come help clean several times a week. And sometimes the stalls dont always get done perfectly, or in a timely manner. But, we all pitch in and do what we can.
We have sold horses to 30 states and 3 Countries.
I also work a full-time job, and a part-time job.(not to mention dance class, computer clb, softball etc) I rely on my cam helpers to help watch the mares. If you are unable to get ahold of me; Contact Melody, Sweetie, Spanisharab, or Claire on my home message board. I know Melody will also be peeking in on this board. They will know how to get a message to me ASAP. I rely on them alot. I have to get sleep at night, because of work, so I need my cams up and running.
I decided to make a secondary message baord here, because many folk dont take the time to log into my board and get to really know us or the horses we are breeding.
My mares free range on pasture with added hay and grain. we bring them in at night starting about a month out. Some acclimate to this, better than others. Some mares you wont see until right before foaling.
If you have something negative to say...dont bother. Ive heard it all, and then some.
