You can see photos of a redbag delivery on the foaling info page here on mare stare also. For the ones that don't know it is Rain's foaling last year.

So if a mare is red bagging should you cut the red part? I now understand what it is but not sure what to do about it.

You must get the bag open ASAP, time is very critical at this point, the foal has started trying to breath and is getting it's lungs full of fluid.
