What does your experience tell you? Cookie was bred May 5 Thru 8, 2005, 3 times. I did not bred her until she went out of estrus. Soooooo, does that possibly mean that I should have started counting days from the last day of her estrus instead of the last breeding date It is a mystery to me. She had a foal 2 years ago, and I believe that she foaled at 340 days. She is a large mini around 39". I know that she will foal when ever she is ready, but.... any input is welcome.

I am waiting on my little falabella mare to foal right now, too, but am not sure when she actually took. (she came here already bred) My mare last year went 7 weeks over what her estimated due date was. Doc and hubby both kept telling me that she would let go of it when it was done cookin'. I know it's hard to wait, I've been there, (and still am!) but I must say, even tho my mare was so far overdue by our calculations, the foal, altho rather large, was very healthy!

Go from your first breeding date to be safe, but also figure your last breeding date before your start getting to worried.
