Well,
We spent all day at our trainers house taking pictures of horses and spending time with friends. We left there house around 8:00 pm and did not make it home until 11:30ish pm. When we got home me and mom went down to the barn to check on all of our mares and much to our surprise we had a new foal out there. My moms mare Shanza foaled while we were gone without us there to help her but all of the mares were willing and able to help her out. We pulled Shanza in the stall and check her fully over and the foal to make sure everyone was ok. We gave her about 6cc's of milk and she pooped and started to nurse.
Shanza foaled a beautiful bay and white filly at only 285 days gestation!!! We are very happy to welcome into our home the newest member of the MRF family.
