RIP Sheba

My 17 year old German Shepard dog named Sheba had to be put down on April 17, 2006. I miss her very much!!!

Our colt was born the same day she died. If he wasn't born that same day that Sheba past away I think I would have lost it because I don't deal with the passing of my animals very good for I'm to emotional a person. I will post pics of my colt in the next few days...

You were a dear friend and faithful companion. There will never ever be another dog like you in my life.... My dear friend you were one of a kind.
You had so much love and tried to watch over me each day. I love you and miss you so much.
I hope that you are having a great time over the rainbow bridge and I hope that I will be able to see you again. I hope that you know how much I love and miss you. I am so thankful for the time we had together. You will always be in my heart. Say Hi to Asha, Sam, Pebbles, Tubby, and Snowball for me. I love y'all.

TessElaine, I am so very sorry for your loss. What a wonderful life you two must have had. I truly believe in the Rainbow Bridge and that we will all be reunited with our loved ones someday. Please accept my condolences. carol

I'm so sorry for your loss of Sheba. 17 years is a long time and hard to say goodbye. When I was out of town a few weeks ago, one of my dear goldens died suddenly and it too was the same day that my colt was born. Somehow I think that's comforting to know that as one passes another enters the world....Take care and my deepest sympathy.

Awww, beautiful dog...so sorry for your loss!! I am terrified for our older golden retriever to pass, but we expect at least 3 more years out of her. It must be awfully hard to cope. Stay strong and keep busy!! Big hugs!!

So sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful dog It seems that you are healing from your loss, and that you are blessed with a new foal to transfer all your love and attention to!

I also own a German Shepard, and know just how loyal these dogs are. Rest assured that you will be reunited with her one day I have had several beloved animals pass over my life time, and the ones that I was the closest to visit me in my dreams It is like we are reunited again! The love is still so strong between us!
