This is a new charity started (in Canada) to start a colostrum bank to be available to foals in need. Currently, they are running an auction consisting of items and services donated. I understand that people here are from all over the world, but it would be interesting to check it out.

I love this idea!!! I wish they were closer so that I could take advantage of the equine massage.....

Mhm, I do too. Perhaps with the start of this one and it is successful, it would be good for other places to start it. Maybe, just maybe, this might help increase the chance of survival for foals involved in difficult birthings, even orphans. There is always hope to save as many as you can, especially the young ones.
