One of my Christmas gifts this year was a book called "The Heart of the Horse." This was a couple of months before I discovered there was a "mare stare" site.
It's a wonderful book with excellent writing and awesome black and white photos. I would only pick up the book to read if I had time to savor every picture.
Well, it's May now and I just finished the book. I was HUGELY surprised to read at the end of the book that the majority of the horses featured in the photos are the horses from Tintagel Andalusians!
If you haven't seen this book, I highly recommend it.
