STUPID STUPID STUPID OLD OWNERS THEY LIED TO US GRRRRRR TURNS OUT THAT SID HAS MOON BLINDNES IN HIS RIGHT EYE. (he was alredy blined in the left eye) and the old owners said that the old owners befor them made the blind eye on the left becuse the left eye fliped around. well when the vet came out he said the left eye got blind from moon blindnes and so know if we dont whant the right eye to go blind we have to give it this medications stuff.
and it will probly go blind in a year anyways

I realize you're angry and I'm so sorry to hear about your horse. I pray that you are able to save his/her remaining eye.
I would like to ask that you modify your post to remove names - as I assume that the name of the previous owner is in there. While I realize you feel you've been treated badly, I don't want this forum to be used to hurt anyone. I hope you'll understand.

So sorry that you feel taken advantage of (lied to) Some lessons are hard to except when first learned. All though you feel deceived, any chance that they (the sellers) did not know either? If so don't forget; you have every right to have a prospective horse vetted out before you buy The extra money that you spend on vetting a horse out saves alot of money & stress later
I hope that your horses remaining eye can be treated enough so he/she is ridable.

Did you not do a pre purchase exam? its not the sellers fault, sure they lied, but buyers beware.... Its always good to do a pre purchase exam just to make srue and cover your basis. Sending prayer for your horsey..

we were going to do a preperches exam but we would of had to trailer the horses an hlf an hr or an hr to the vet offic to get it becuse the doctor wouldnt come out to have a pre perches exam becuse he only dose them at the vet offic. so we decided not to becuse we would of had to trailer them soo far.

That is unfortunate that the vet would not come out. Maybe if your parents talk to the seller and explain what your vet discovered about the horses sight, and that the horse was unsafe for you to ride, they would consider taking it back & giving you a refund. That is of course if you do not want to keep the animal anymore I understand your disappointment, it is not the first time a person purchased a horse and once home the horse didn't work out Just a suggestion, next time you are seriously looking at a horse, and can not get it vet checked, either pay an experienced, honest & knowledgeable horse person to go with you, or just pass on that animal altogether.

Hey....... you know that everything happens for a reason. Maybe you were suppose to save this horse. I mean, had you not bought him along with the other horse, he might have not have gone to such a nice home. Hopefully something good will come out of this. I know that already there is a lucky horse out in your pasture

We once had a horse tha twas moon blind he followed our mare around everywhere she would actually wait for him and show him the safe palces. Soon he had enough confidence to follow her on trail when my husband and daughter would go out. He gave us many happy times before he died of old age. Don't regret taking him at all.
