I am so very sorry to hear this tragic news! It is so sad to watch anything die, but when it's your baby, it makes it twice as hard to let go. I'll pray for you to find the strenght that you need to get through this. And always remember she's crossing the rainbow bridge playing with all of the other carefree foals. Don't ever put the blame on your self... that will only make you feel miserable. I'll pray that you heart heals over this and also for your mare, Cinny. You both did what you could and that is all that matters. Big hugs for you and Cinny and anyone else that needs them!

Heather, Shannon and all at MRF~ I am SO sorry for your loss. I'm sitting here just now and reading this sad news in tears. My son and I got to see Cinny foal that beautiful girl, Mystery, on cam. She was truly a BEAUTY.. like her mom. Please don't put yourself thru the "what if's".. You did all you could for her and I know how MUCH you love your horses and would do anything you could for them. My heart is just broken for you and all at MRF on this. And that precious Cinny.. Sending you and all at MRF prayers and hugs.. Wish there was something else I could do. Melanie

Heather first i want to say that i am sending you all the prayers a person can send to another, as well as to Cinny.
Please do not blame yourself for what has happened. It is a tragedy, and always so unimaginably heartbreaking when we lose a horse so young and so fast. However, we can not control what mother nature and God has planned for each and every living being put on this planet. Each and every one has its purpose.
All of us here at MareStare know well that you take the best care of your horses and always have them in mind every step of the way in life. If every horse had an owner as dedicated and dilegent as you the world would be a completely different place. Mystery was a gorgeous foal that touched all of our hearts, including yours the deepest. She is now in a better place where she can be carefree and joyous for eternity. Please do not blame yourself, you did the very best any human could.
God Bless and God Speed

Heartfelt sympathy to all at Mulligans Run. Sending prayers for healing and strength your way. Please don't blame yourself. It's something that all of us that raise livestock sadly face sooner or later. Don't know why we go for quite some time without any problems then have a year where it seems everything goes wrong. I had raised goats for a number of years with no major problems. Then I lost 5 baby goats and 2 mama goats one year. Thank God I had all of my other critters who needed me. Nothing better than furry hugs and kisses when you're down. I'll be praying for safe foalings for you. Love you all.

So sorry Heather with all you have gone through . Don't second guess all you have done . We all know how much you care for your little ones. Its heart breaking to loose one so precious. Jim and I were watching the video and she did not run but all babies don't there first few mins out. We could not tell anything was wrong and neither could you . So quit kicking yourself. Know Mystery was loved her short time on earth. That is more than a lot of animals have. She was belssed to be born on your farm. You are in our prayers. Jim and Mary
