Thank you!! You beat me to this one, I failed to check Blood Horse this afternoon since I checked this morning and didn't find anything! I'm so happy this day is seeing him do so well - if you had told me 4 weeks ago he would be doing THIS well I don't know if I would've believed you!!! I tell ya, it is a miracle! ;D I'm still keeping updated with my thread over on Horse City on him - there are daily updates there in case anyone wants to follow a little closer! But thank you devotee for pointing me in the direction of this WONDERFUL update!

Bloodhorse has another article, posted to their site yesterday, on the plans for the Maryland Racing Commission to investigate the circumstances of Barbaro's injury. The article updates what is visible on the Preakness tape concerning the possibility of interference by Brother Derek, but there is still nothing conclusive.

Barbaro has developed some complications and is being watched closely, after developing an abscess and requiring an extra changing of his cast. The story is on Bloodhorse.com. Here's the link - news.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=34298 .

Meghan- please don't post complete articles. It infringes upon copyright laws and can land Heather with a hefty fine. Could you edit your post and get rid of the text? Thanks.

Barbaro has developed further, potentially serious complications. Both the University of Pennsylvania Bolton Clinic site and Bloodhorse.com have the same story. Here's the link to Bloodhorse: news.bloodhorse.com/viewstory.asp?id=34335.

Barbaro had to have surgery again today to change his cast (for the 6th time), but his overall condition seems somewhat better now. Bloodhorse.com has several articles on recent developments. Here's the link to the Bolton Center update: http://www.vet.upenn.edu./newsandevents/news/Barbaro_Update7-10.htm
