Problem Accessing Chat Room

:-/Okay so i have been trying to figure out how to get into the chatroom for months now! I have tried everything i can think of.. and no matter what i keep getting a red "x" where the box to log in and chat would normally come up. I have been on the chat a couple of times at computers at the community college but it will not let me in to see what the internet settings are. Has anyone else had this problem? If so please let me know becase i really want to come chat it up with you guys! Thanks

I dont know the exact problem, it does require the java platform if you dont have it, download it here.. www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp

You can also check security settings, hope you get it figured out...there may be someone that can help you better.
