He was heart broke over Lukky passing on too. Seems like they all fell in love with the stinker too. They went over everything that had been done to Lukky to make sure no one made a mistake. I assured them it wasn't their fault that it happens. Well long story short the vet did an amazingly nice thing. He reduced our vet bill and took off a $1000. I am absolutely amazed. He is a wonderful vet, they all are. It takes a lil stress off of my shoulders. I don't feel so paniced anymore!

That is wonderful news! I know that takes some pressure off you! See, there are some Vets out there that aren't just money-grubbers that still have compassion for the animals and the people that love them. It's heartwarming to hear how they all fell in love with him and truly cared about him. Our small animal Vet is that way. When we lost my dog a few years ago, I got a card in the mail from the Morris Animal Foundation saying my Vet had made a donation to them in my dog's name. I thought that was so wonderful and caring of them!

Wow - that is wonderful news - what a kind and considerate vet....sounds like mine. I only wish that everyone had access to a vet like that. I'm sure that Lukky's bill is still a burden, but hopefully this act of kindness will ease that for you.

Yes Heather it does. I have been so stressed about the bill. It helps and some of the burden has been lifted. I feel now, that instead of being overwhelmed by the bill I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for a change!

Wat a wonderful vet- I'm so glad he understands your situation and was kind-hearted enough to do such a wonderful thing for you. It makes the stress a little more bearable.

Wonderful to get this heartening news and to hear from you, Lovelyepona. I hope you are healing gradually with time, and I think often of you and of Lukky. The forever-Lukky will always be in so many of our hearts.
