hey guys i just have to share what happened today because it gives me goosebumps now to think about it!!! well i've been practicing lengthens on my mare for quite a while now but recently it has gotten much easier because she is much more comfortable carrying herself collected and on the bit. anyway, mollie is very sensitive so only a hint of leg is needed and she gets the message. anyway, i could tell that mollie was really holding back in lengthens which was strange for her because she generally rushes through everything. so today i gave her a much bigger squeeze than usual along with the other ques for her to lengthen. well let me tell you, she EXPLODED into the most amazing lengthen ever 
!!!! mollie is a quarter horse and has short legs for her body size (15 hands) but she was extending every possible inch of them!!! it was the most amazing feeling!!! i honestly did feel like i was floating (however cheesy that may sound). like i said before i still get goosebumps!!! incase you can't tell i'm rather excited ;D
