Don't worry Cheri, there will be more action coming soon with the open house next Sunday, we have lots to do to get them ready.
The grass has been growing in their paddock so there's not as much exposed rock and dirt so hope to get them out for a little while today. It's really no bigger than their stall but it's in the sunshine and a little bit of that would be good for them. Hope to be giving them baths again sometime today. Looks like Vee is rubbing her mane again and since that turned out to be fungus related I'm going to treat them all to be safe.
I have a little story that relates to Trouble and Surprise. The day they were born my friend, Naomi, brought me flowers for them. They were little petunia plants. One was almost purple, the other a bright pink. She said they were the closest she could get to pink and blue for their sexes. I planted them in a pot together and I plan to put that pot by their stall for the open house. The interesting thing is the Surprise's pink petunia is taking over the pot and Trouble's purple on is about one quarter the size. But the catch is, I found a couple of petunia seedlings sprotting near that pot and planted them in their own little pots. They have just started to bloom. They are both purple. So whlile Surprise's plant is growing profusely, Trouble's is proliferating. I don't know if you can tell from the camera angle, but Trouble spends a lot of time thinking about proliferating. He's quite the little stud muffin not just dropped but erect not to mentions his play with Surprise nipping at her whithers and hocks and of course, jumping on her. Seems to me these petunias are mirroring the personalities of the twins in a quirky little way. One of those things that makes you go HMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm.......
