She will be having a mastectomy on the 20th right around Thanksgiving. She is being so strong through all of this, I seem to be more of a wreck than she is. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and thank you for all of your support!

The prayers are flooding.... and most of us know the power of prayer. So, we know things will have the right outcome, and all will be fine. Stay strong, as if she sees that you are strong then she will be even stronger.

My prayers are with you for your peace of mind, Skye. It's frightening when someone we love has this disease!! And prayers are with your mom for complete recovery after successful surgery.

Well they have schedule a 10 hour surgery for my mother on Monday. They will be removing the right breast and the lymph nodes to determine radiation treatment, then reconstructing the right breast and the left to match the right. My mother does have a history of coma, siezures, and heart failure under anesthesia (went into 3 week coma when she had her wisdom teeth removed) Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers! OH Skye what a wonderful picture of you and your mom. Brings tears to my eyes when I think of what you're all going thru. You both look like strong women, I will be thinking of you both on Monday. Big hugs, lots of prayers coming your way. Tell mom she has a lot of people rooting for her!

Best wishes and prayers for your mom. And for you too. Stay strong and don't forget to take care of yourself. It will all be ok. Had 3 grandmas to go through it and they did just fine. I love the pic. You really favor your mom. Love you. Hugs!!!!
