YAY! I found a vet that would take the wart off Sinbad. He doesn't even live too far away...He took the wart off by freezing it and stuff. He will hold a check for me til I call and let him know when he may cash it.He does know me very well....I am so thankful he would do this....Sinbad was a good boy too...I had to stay out in the waiting area tho.I will have to get the peroxide out and get the blood outta the back seat of my car but thats ok as long as he is ok.I have to keep the bandage on for a few days but thats good its finally gonna be ok...Now maybe my bad headache will go away.I will give his normal vet the monies I recieve right to her...Sinbad and I thank you all for all of the support and prayers..I will keep ya all posted as to how he does.Once again THANK YOU ALL! God Bless all of you...HUGE HUGS

I'm so glad to hear you found a vet to take it off, and so willing to work with you too! Sounds like he used a cryoprobe (or something similar). It's really an amazing little gadget, I think it's so much better than the traditional surgery, you don't have to risk anesthesia or anything. They probably made you wait in the waiting room because dogs usually behave better for the vet when the owners aren't around. We do the same thing here. Give your big guy lots of hugs and kisses:)

Ok now he told me to leave the bandage on for a few days, but it loooks this am that his paw is swollen a bit... Could I take the bandage off and put it back on...Darn I hate to be a pain but would it be ok to do? This vet is really a person that likes only cats lol, prefers cats to dogs and large dogs at that...Thanks once again for your help and support...

Well, if his paw's swollen, the bandage is probably too tight. You could probably take it off, but when you rewrap it, be VERY careful not to make it too tight. I heard of one case at the clinic where the owner rewrapped a leg, the dog chewed on it and made it tighter, and he ended up losing the leg. But as long as you check on it often and make sure it's not getting too tight, he'll be fine. And you're not being a pain, it's always better safe than sorry

Thak you so much...I will be very careful.I have been massaging his paw too...The vet did say to leave it on for a few days.Guess I should of asked him how long that was.I am afraid when I do take it off, that it won't be healed up and it will break open.gosh I think I should of been a vet,lol....He is walking good on it tho.No limping.I am so relieved that its over.O boy!How will I know if its too tight?? I don't want it too loose...Thanks again..

Judy so glad to hear you managed to have the wart removed. It wont be long and Sinbad will be back to normal. Can you post a pic of him, l'd love to see him, l love the reds as well as the blacks. How old is he, my boy was 12 when he passed away.
