I have warts and verrucas but i never heard of a wart on a horse, scary!!

I believe you mean dog Meghan.  It's ok I understand how you could make that mistake. My fiance and his dad both call horses dogs as in "sacred dog"(some historical books say that native americans used to call their horses that) |

Meghan, they're actually pretty comon, and most of the time they don't cause problems. Once in a while they are in a bod spo, or the dog keeps shewing them, or they get bumped, or some other reason, and they get infected or break open or cause other problems. Hrses can get them too. Just about any animal can.

Sinbad's wart was on is elbow. I had vet wrap on it yesterday but during the night somehow with him getting ccumfy while I was asleep it did come off.I have left it off all day now and it is finally drying and looking really good..Once again THANK YOU ALL for theprayers and support you have given me and my Sinbad...HUGS

Well, Sinbad's booboo is healing up nicely but now he tries to lick it! Yep, he can reach his elbow but I have a muzzle and will have to put it on him if he continues to do that .He is a good good dobie tho.Thanks again for your support and suggestions ...God bless all of you...
