Oh, I get it, I've been doing that quick reply or quick post or whatever at the very bottom, and that doesn't give you any of these tools, I didn't see the tag for reply. That makes a lot more sense. Thanks!
And thanks for the comments about Surprise and Trouble's condition. They are in very good shape. Even with all of the different issues along the way, we have always managed to catch things early and keep them from deteriorating. I guess it started with the fact they were born in very good shape. I had been pushing all the fat and other groceries I could to the mare before they were born because I was worried about the condition of the mare and "the foal." They arrived weak from the trauma of the difficult birth, Surprise had a lung that wasn't working and on and on but their size was good and weight great for twins and I think that set the stage for everything from there. When I took them up to the hospital and over the phone the vets decided that Surprise would have to have surgery, only to change their minds once they actually saw them. She was in too good a condition to take that kind of risk with her life so the treatment plan changed and it worked out for us. It's been a lot of time, energy and money but I wouldn't even think of doing it any other way. Now if we can just manage to raise the funds to keep getting them the additional treatments etc that they need so they can get to have happy, normal lives. It just seems a shame to have them go through all of this and settle for anything less.

LOL Currently, that is Trouble working on the "new window" but believe me, Surprise was there just a while ago doing her part. Sure wish I could get that chewing stopped, they're more like twin beavers than twin foals And, yes, the have salt and lots of toys (you should be able to see them), don't know about a mineral block but will check it out.

Mikael, I did a little bit of online catalog searching(my favorite Valley Vet Supply) and I found a product that might be helpful. Here's the page www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.html?pgguid=2e87bfa8-7b6a-11d5-a192-00b0d0204ae5If for some reason the link doesn't work www.valleyvet.com product search on the upper left side for Immuno-Plus. I emailed valley vet asking about a possible age resriction and this is the response I got. Cheri, Thank you for writing ValleyVet.com. The product label does not list any type of age restrictions. you may want to contact the manufacturer directly, to see if they offer any further recomendations. you can reach them at their website at www.totalhealthenhance.com , or by phone at 888-422-8398 (ask for bob). they would be more than happy to answer any question that you might have. So, I'll make the phone call and find out if there is one. Ok, just got off the phone with Bob(so helpful!) He said the youngest horse they've used it on was 4 months. If you have any questions about it call and ask for Bob and tell them you got the number from valley vet supply.

Cheri, Thanks for the info on that supplement. Will look into it.
Currently, the cam is down. It went down late last night and we can't seem to figure out why. We've check all of our connections and everything seems to be like it's supposed to so am not sure where to go from here.

Graham is 14 miles south of Puyallup on the way to Eatonville/Mt Rainer. And I'm not exactly sure where Randle is but have an idea, down Mt St Helens way isn't it? And we have the cam back up. If anyone has trouble getting it, please let me know.

They're actually getting close to the 200 pound mark. What a milestone that will be! Wow, you weren't far from me at all. And WSU has a great vet school, I'm told, Two of the vet assistants with the twins are going to school there to become vets. Pretty cool! I'd never make a good vet or a tech for that matter, I get queasy at the drop of a hat. When Vee had the first surgery on her nose, I was laying on the ground outside the stall with my head swimming around me just because of the sound of the snip, snip of the scissors. What a mess that was!

Lol, I'm going to WSU this year, but it's Wichita State, not Washington State. That'd be weird to go to 2 different schools that were both WSU And wow, 200 lbs! That will be a big milestone

It looks llike Trouble and Vee;s fungus is gone but Surprise is really struggling fighting it off. Seems like she's getting new locations scabbing up daily. The good news is that it finally looks like some of the old locations are starting to heal. So maybe we're going to get a turn around here soon. I sure hope so. She's sick of me inspecting her for new scabs and even sicker of me scratching at them trying to get them off and yet loosing the scabs has been the only way we've made any inroads against this stuff so it has to be. She tolerates me but the look on her dear sweet face is "oh mom, do we have to do this AGAIN!" Wednesday, the vet came and worked on their feet again. They are definitely improving with each trim. But (there's always a BUT with these two ) they were very, very naughty! Quit laughing, cause I know you are! We started with Trouble and it looked like he was going to be a good boy until he kicked out with both hind legs and nearly took out my poor vet! The next assualt came in the form of leaping straight up and then strking out, followed by some pretty deliberate head-butting! Not good, he better be careful or his finally descended testicles will be a thing of the past! There were several repetitions of these tactics before we finally got his trims completed. Now, Surprise must have been standing off closely watching this ordeal because she pretty much replicated it to a tee! can some one tell me how 2 little (180 lb foals) can give such fits to 4 adults? That's right, there were 4 of us, 2 vet assistants, the vet and me. Vee doesn't contribute one way or the other, she's too intent on her food, if you haven't noticed, and we pretty much have only one person tending to one twin while we assualt the other and we still bounce around the stall like we're dealing with a 1000lb critter! We're laughing most of the time so they're pretty sure that they're cute, too! Another bad thing! This is the fourth time they've had these trims done, you'd think they'd be getting better. I think they're getting worse! It's almost like the bath scenario only it's playing in reverse. They started off pretty good now they're acting just like the first adventure with the baths. But the baths are getting to be pretty good, with no really major issues to speak of until they get turned loose............then all he_ _ breaks loose as they race around the stall, bucking, kicking, rearing, just throwing themselves around voicing their discontent at the humiliation we've just but them through. It's definitely a sight worth watching! However, I'm a little nervous that I have two rogues in the making here! We have a milestone coming soon. Well, maybe a couple of them, they will be 3 months old in a few days AND they are closing in on 200 pounds. Don't know when we'll reach that but think we should have some kind of celebration! I don't know if they'll make it until our open house, Sept 10. If they did,we could celebrate then. but sure seems like we should do something in the meantime, it's been such a long hard road and I for one am really pumped about finally getting here. I'm pretty sure that Trouble and Surprise would like a party, they pretty much think they're supposed to be the center of attention each and every day. and I can tell you, they have no idea they have fans watching them on the cam, the concept of cyberfans is pretty lost on them so I was thinking we should do something so they feel appreciatied ;D In the meantime, this afternoon sometime will see another bath time for Surprise. I'm sure she'll be thrilled. I know I'm really looking forward to it

Oh Mikael, you crack me up! I'm sorry, but I had to laugh at the performance with the vet for their trims. Just the fact that their strong enough to take on 4 adults, tells me that they have the fire to fight their weaknesses and live. A celebration for them would be a great thing, as far as being the center of attention...might have to make it left or right center so that there will be room for you and the vet team!
