Awesome pictures, thank you for posting them. I'm glad you got to see this one. Is the other mare expecting? She sure was watching closely wasn't she? LOL

Wow! That's quite amazing! Especially for those of us who have never seen a foaling up close like that. I mean sure I've seen births on cams but never with that clarity and focus to even see all of the blood vessels in the placenta! That's just amazing how life literally comes out into the world like that. But oh boy did the Mama streeeetch like human Moms do to get that alien out! LOL
Thank you for posting those wonderful photos for us not lucky enough or blessed enough to be owned by horses. ;D

I also meant to say how much I love how the Mama had her own personal 4 legged lamaze coach there with her! Very helpful! hehe And aww what a beautiful way to come into this world...into a beautiful field of flowers!!

Thanks guys! The "midwife mare" isn't pregnant. Just very plump. She stood watch so the other horses wouldn't get to close. The mama mare is her half sister and they've always been together. Yes, pretty little yellow "weed" flowers. I hate that we have them all over the pasture, but, they do make for some pretty pics.

The pictures are fabulous. I can't wait to share them with some of my friends that ask so many questions and spent so many hours waiting on Munchie to foal.

Thank you for that fine display. Lovely horses and the filly is just gorgeous. What a perfect place to be born, in a clean field of wild yellow flowers. Congratulations. Name?
