The cam is down until tonight, I'm returning cam #1 and #2 to the camera guy, and he's got a couple of more for us to out over the weekend, I'm holding onto cam #3 for now since this is our best one so far. Daisy will be in around 10:00 pm our time and the cam will be back up. She's been normal outside today, when the blacksmith showed up she ran to the the other end of the pasture just like normal too, silly girl, she ended up getting her feet trimmed anyways. I'll update on her tonight after she comes in.

Daisy Update: She continues to remain the same, her udder is fuller in the morning and looser when she comes in at night, clear milk.
Camera Update: I had cam #4 up earlier tonight but took it down, I need to figure out how to adjust it and might have it back up for tomorrow night. For tonight we are back on cam #3, which I managed to mount on the wrong rafter:( it's not focused to be this far away, if I get ambitious later tonight I'll move it back to were it was last night. With this view Little Boy can be seen in his current favorite roosting spot, in the upper right corner of the screen near the top is an old bantam barred rock rooster.

Daisy has been the same so far today, I'll update on her later after she comes in. I took some pictures of her and Teyha today and I'm going to try to post them.
Here goes:If anyone was wondering if girls eat side by side while they are outside, yes:)Teyha, without the mask. Teyha's name in Indian means "precious", and she truly is.
I felt this was a good way to see if I could figure this out and I hope that you enjoy the pictures of the girls that you have been watching. I would really like to post baby pictures for everyone, if the little critter ever appears.
If you don't see any pictures with this post, I'll be making another attempt right after I figure out how to delete this:)

I did it. Yeah!!!
Now lets see if the change I made to the heading of the thread works, I hope that it is okay to do this, if not I will change it right back to Thread #2, it will be good practice.

Daisy is getting a bit fiesty with Teyha, reached out to tell her to go away. They are having a small spat, it seems.

The pictures a just beautiful Becky. Superb job Just doing my "morning rounds" and was (and still am) watching Daisy and Teyha. Can't help but notice that both girls are really starting to balloon out. It's hard to believe that Teyha isn't due until September. She may not be able to fit in the stall if she goes that long It was nice to see what Teyha looks like without the fly mask. Thanks for the pictures and the update. I did notice that Daisy was wandering a bit more this morning and doing some big time but rubbing. Deb

Hi Deb, Thank you so much for the morning update on Daisy, I always wonder what she has been up to while I've been sleeping.
Teyha started looking pregnant the day after we bred her, I think this is probably due to her age. She last foaled in March of 2005 and we left her open for a long break, since we were unsure if she had been given a rest in between foals in the past. She got very depressed when everyone started foaling last year, when the last jennet foaled she started demanding that she be put out with them, and then I realized what was going on and put her in with the new mom and baby, within minutes she was back to her normal self with a happy look on her face and her whole body posture changed, it appears that it is okay not to have her own baby but she must have someones baby to love and guard. I have promised her that I will not make that mistake again, she will always be in with the babies, even when she does not have her own. I have learned so much from these little long eared creatures. Thank you so much for keeping an eye on them.
