WOW, Annette,
Small world. My grandparents used to live in Kemptville, on Route 43 east of highway 16 (416 now???) just before you got to La Mire's store (is that still there? probably not.)

Hey,
This place is so much fun, I can't stop watching all the cams, I have seen quite a few births.
I am from New Brunswick, Canada, between my dad and I there are 21 horses here, I have 7 of my own. We raise Percheron draft horses and I raise paints aswell. We show locally, my dad drives up to a 10 horse hitch and I love showing both the drafts and the lights.. Get the best of both worlds I guess.
I have two newfoundland dogs, one mixed breed, 3 cats, and well it's pretty much the funny farm! haa
I would post pics but I am not sure how.. sorry...

Hey everyone! My name is Sarah and I live in Oregon, I have been riding horses for six years and have been leasing a QH mare for 5 months. I have 1 Toy Poodle dog named Cocoa, 1 mix breed cat named Ziggy (I like to call her crazy cat), 3 canaries: Patches,Sunrise, and Puff, 2 fish tanks, 2 bettas, 1 Guinea Pig named Holloween (everyone calls her Holly), and 1 Netherland Dwarf/ Mini Rex rabbit named Bandit. I have been Marestaring for 4 years and have probaly seen over 1,000 foalings , the first mare I ever saw was Straw at Freelands Miniature Horses (who is now on cam!) , having her colt Kahlua. I have always loved horses and hope to someday add one to my animal list.

Hey all, my name's Sharon and I have to admit, I don't know very much about horses. I only know some basic things, but I figure this is where I can learn. I do love horses and I've already seen one (Maxi from Belcher Quarter) foal. Very awesome.

Hi! My name's Meredith and I live in Missouri. I've been a veterinary assistant (small animal) for about 11 years. I'm married to the most wonderful (and patient!) man on the planet, and am mom to 2 teenagers. On the furry/feathery side of life I have 5 horses, 3 dogs, a little gray 'tiel, a New Zealand White bunny named Boomer, 3 potbellied pigs, 3 hens, a gazillion barn cats, and 4 Irish Dexter cattle. I've been mare staring for the past couple of months, and it never gets old! It's so awesome to watch new lives come into the world!

Hi everyone, My name is Janey and I live in Northern BC, CANADA. My husband & I have 26 horses, mostly AQHA. This spring we have 10 foals due, starting mid-April. I am very happy for such a great place as Mare Stare. I have had bad luck with foaling and have been able to see many normal births, and I have learned valueable info. Thanks so much to all the kind people, and to the operators of MS.

Hi, my name is Christy Looney (thus, the Looneyfarm name..lol). And it is a Looneyfarm! I have an Arabian gelding, 2 dwarf minis (rescues), 5 dogs, 8 cats and I'm into raising parakeets, the total is 8 of them now. And a husband who can be a lazy pain (what man can't?), but he loves the animals and has deep pockets when it comes to their needs, so I guess I'll keep him..lol I also have 3 kids and 7 grandchildren. I work part time doing home health care. This is my 3rd year Mare staring, the 2nd on high speed internet, so I usually have 6-9 cams going. This year I'm keeping a book of who foaled where and what time, it may help next year!

Hello all, My real name is Kim. I am 36 work full-time nights on an Ambulance in Attica, Indiana. It is my passion besides these silly, silly mares. I have 3 children plus 4 step-children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and one most adorable granddaughter who is now 11/2 weeks old. I do have 2 horses, one is a full blooded quarter horse the other (her daughter) is now 2 and is a mix of quarter horse and american saddle breed. She is a very well marked paint to boot!!! I have 4 dogs, a border collie, australian shepard, rat terrier and a mutt. I have 2 fish takes with just regular fish, one cat, one guinea pig, a regular pig and last but probably not least I have a husband. He and I have been married for 7 years now and we could not be happier. Of course he works days farming and I work nights. Guess where I am when he isn't here? You got it watching mares. Any way that is part of my life actually probably the most important parts. Glad to be watching and chatting with you all.

Hi Everyone! I am Dawn and I live in central MD between Baltimore and Washington DC. I haven't been able to have horses for almost 20 years, being military and then moving here to MD, where the cost of land and boarding is outrageous. We did have 2 Missouri Foxtrotters way back when, and were privileged to have bred the mare and I was ULTRA happy to have been present for the foaling, despite what my fellow barn members had told me. I am a dog groomer by trade and have an English Setter (aka goat girl...she eats everything and it goes right thru her) and a Shih Tzu (emphasis on the first syllable aka toad man...he looks like a toad). Happy to have found this site by friends at Africam!
