This is cool! My friend and I were just playing around and tracking the lineage of her horse (the one we show) and found out that he is a descendent of Man O' War! He's a Quarter Horse, but there apparently is a Thoroughbred line way back through his sire. (He's also a Sonny Dee Bar horse, so maybe some of your horses are related to Man O' War, too!)
Are any of your horses related to famous ones?

Ours are...but you'd have to know the miniature lines...  We have a son and daughter of Rowdy, and are basing our breeding program on his lines, so we have lots of granddaughters as well. We are looking into purchasing one of the last sons of Roan Ranger as well..... |

Well since mine are Appaloosas ;D My Mare " Images In Lace" lines go to on top JokerB, Sundance, On Bottom, Prince Plaudit, Two Eyed Jack,Poco Bueno, Goer,Skipper W, Citation "(Won 1948 Triple Crown) And more Joker B Now my gelding "Day Lite Images" has On top Has Bull Nunneley who goes to Man O war and KING and Top Dec, More Joker B, And THREE BARS On bottom he has what my Mare has I use www.allbreedpedigree.com to find this stuff out.  |

We have several minis that have the infamous Buckeroo behind them. One of our mares is a linebred mare - Buckeroo on both sides of the pedigree.
But - as Heather says - you need to know the miniature horse lines to appreciate Rowdy, Buckeroo, etc.

well i don't think mollie's lines are "famous" but i have found out some interesting things about her sire's side. Her sire was Tailwind Jesse (Jesse James Tardy X Royal Deck A Bar) and from what I've learned he was a racing QH and didn't do so bad on the track. Also, the Deck a Bar lines that she has were part of a cutting line (i think). hopefully I haven't mixed things up to horribly and if anyone knows about either of those lines feel free to correct me :-) what's interesting is that mollie is registered with the APHA but has an EXTREMELY small amount of paint in her; it's mostly quarter horse.

Yes we have quite a few who are famous. We have lots of Doc Bar horses, we raise Quarter horses.

My mare was an Ibn Moniet El Nefous daughter. She, in turn, was bred to Shaikh Al Badi to produce my gelding's sire. My gelding's Dam, on the other hand, is an *Aladdinn granddaughter. They are very well known and, IMO, fantastic sires in the Arabian breed. |

My mare is a great grand daughter of Smart Little Lena & Mr Gunsmoke. (COW HORSE) My bs paint gelding is a greatgrand son of Impressive.

Well, let's see..... We have a stallion who is a grand-son of two of the top Arabian stallions of all time - Khemosabi and Huckleberry Bey ;D We have a mare who is a daughter of Moniet El Sharaf, who was sydicated for $10,000,000  We have a mare who goes back to one of the stallions who played "The Black Stallion" in the movie. We have others with some famous Arabian lines as well, but these are the most recognizable.  |

Of COURSE she is! ;D She is Aatlas's MOM! <<giggles>> Actually, she has some really awesome bloodlines herself! Her sire is one of only 5 foals ever sired by the incredible Blacklord Arabi black sabino son, The Boogeyman. Boogeyman only bred for one season, when he was 2 years old, and then died later. (long story) The black sabino is incredibly rare in Arabians, so that's saying a lot for her potential. You should have some really spectacular foals from her for SURE!!! ;D |

The twins have lots of famous horses in their pedigrees. Khemosabi, Huckleberry Bey, Raffon, Raffles, Bask, Gai Parada , Ferzon to name a few of the stallions. Virginia Dare was named a dowager mare - for those of you who don't know that's a special ranking given for Arabian broodmares who have produced at least 4 national champions. Khemosabi and Huckleberry Bey both had Breyer horses made of them. No wonder the little varmits have such attitude |

My palomino mare is double bred Impressive (World Champion, Reserve World Champion, Ranked #4 all time leading QH sire for reg progeny and #5 for halter and performance winners), double registered Sonny Dee Bar (Hall of famer). She is a grand daughter of Impressive Review who was a world Champion. She also has Sonny Go Lucky who was a world champion as well. All of these horses are directly on her papers.
My tobiano paint mare is in foal to Rugged Painted Lark who has world steer stoping and calf roping points. His owner Lynn Palm hopes to take him to a world super horse title as well. He too has a Peter Stone Model made after him. Rugged Painted Lark's sire is Rugged Lark. He was a two time world superhorse that did many expo's doing his bridless dressage and jumping routine. He also has a model made after him.
