Fly predators work great to reduce flies (check for local advice on recommended style and color). BUT: before you resort to it, I'd recommend watching the movie, Cane Toads. Eveline has just risen in all her glory from her late-morning nap.

I've got too much streaming video jamming my bandwidth right now, so I can't check that link. I'll have to see if it's what I had in mind when I recommended Cane Toads - which is a hilarious documentary about the importation of cane toads to Australia for pest control. I'm wondering, because it doesn't have any animation that I remember . . . and I hope you didn't like link up to some reptilian p-o-r-n site or something and think I had that in mind. LOL!
(I do know a good one about spiders, though.)

Spider P o r n? The humor mod does not approve! That is just icky! But not nearly as icky as toads! I will certainly be passing on the video!

Okay. Just to preserve my good reputation, here's the link. It's NOT p-o-r-n. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHzdsFiBbFc(And humor mod will love it, if she's got enough bandwidth. Close a couple windows and watch. It's worth it.)

Well to tell you the truth, I wondered what that movie could have to do with fly predators. Here it is on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCF3N9-L3Q4I did a search on the internet to find out about the "cane toad movie" and that's what I found. Must not be the right one

The cam has gone all fuzzy and funky. Does it normally do this at night? This is the first night in 2 weeks I have had my hi-speed being good and I can't see her!!

The imported cane toads thrived and are now a huge problem in their own right. So the documentary is a (hilarious) cautionary tale about introducing alien predators into a prey-rich environment. That's why I suggest consulting local agricultural authorities before introducing fly predators. (Of course, agricultural authorities would be the same blokes who imported the cane toads in Australia.) And now we return you to Eveline, whose tail tail rarely swishes and is clearly untroubled by flies or anything else. She is perfect.

Just a FYI - as you know I have been having some issues with my cameras. I am going to try some rewiring. First, I am working on some fencing for the pasture Eveline and the baby will be in. When I get back in the house, I will work on the cameras. Until then, the wire for the internet connection is disconnected. I'll post when I get it finished.
