Is Eveline's thread closing? Please tell me that isn't so! Devotee, to answer your question, Eveline does not have any offspring that have turned 3 yet. It takes 4 star offspring to become preferent so mares that earn that designation are 10 years old at best. Eveline's colt received a 2nd premium. He lives in Mexico now and will probably not go to keuring when he turns 3. I hope he does, but it is unlikely. Eveline's mother is preferent. She has had 6 foals that are already 3 or older. 4 made star. She is 15 years old now and became preferent last year at 14. She had a foal last year too - her 7th. It is typical to breed the first time when they are 3 years old. You should go to a keuring. I enjoy them, but I guess I should! And they are about judging - not selling. So you wouldn't have to worry too much about going home with one! ;D If you want to go to one, the schedule is on the FHANA website.

Hey, Debbie. Eveline's thread is up and running on the new message board. Come on over! Here's the link: latigo.marestare.com/forum/You'll have to register (password must be 8 characters) in order to post. We're all having to do it, but the new board is great! Thanks for all the keuring information and background on Eveline's family. Don't you love knowing all that stuff? I wish it was paid work. LOL! I enjoyed the "tailspin" view of the stall this afternoon. Whew. Between that and trying to acclimate to the new board, I got a ripping case of vertigo. HA! Some of your posts have already been moved to the thread on the new board. I'll see if I can figure out how to move this latest post, but I might have to get Deidre (saddlebredlover) to help. Seeya over there, I hope!
