Daisy update, clear fluid still in udder, her back is starting to sway, and from the side profile her udder and vulva is slightly extending past the back of her hip, she's been comfortable all day even in the heat, she is slightly narrower in width of belly but not as narrower as I would expect for the foal to be all the way in position, (I'm not sure how she normally looks once the foal has turned since I haven't foaled her out before). We will be trying a new camera soon, hopefully tomorrow. I'll post in the morning if there are any changes with Daisy, have a wonderful night, Beckie

Daisy is the same this evening, still clear milk, no changes. I'm going to be trying three different cams over the next couple of days, I would love any feed back on these cams that you have to offer, if you can please view them at night and during the day, I'll call this cam #1, and I'll post when I switch to another cam, I'm not done adjusting this one but have given up for the night, I think:)

Thank you so much for letting me know, I like this one the best so far of the ones that I've had up, I might leave this one up through tomorrow night so that I can try moving it back a foot or so, to get the whole stall on, and I would like to try light bulbs with a lower watt, I had three 100 watt bulbs around their stall the last couple of nights trying to make it so that we could see the girls, I'm also going to try doing one light in the center of the stall, tonight there is a 60 watt in the stall (this is mounted at the ceiling to the left side of the stall from the camera view) and two 75 watt bulbs on the sides (one in aisle way and one in the stall next door). I might leave each of these new cameras up for a couple of days while I experiment with them on and off during the day and night. Thank you again from all of us, especially the two old girls that are itching each other again:)

Thank you barbw for the picture of the girls, it's awesome. Teyha was definitely crashed and Daisy looks like she is staring at the bottom of Teyha's belly, maybe trying to decide if her belly is that wide on the bottom, hers is wider:) The girls are out for the day, no changes with Daisy. I'm going to leave this cam up tonight, and move it back some and try some lower lighting for tonight. We'll be trying one of the other camera's sometime tomorrow. I'll do an update on Daisy tonight when she comes in.

Daisy Update: she is still in a holding pattern, clear milk but it's thicker tonight, it has been the consistency of water, it rolled off my hand much slower tonight, her rump is very loose and like jello on the sides of her tail head.
Camera Update: this is still Camera #1, we moved it back one rafter tonight, and have moved a light with a 40 watt bulb directly over the girls to cut down on shadows, I know that it doesn't look like it on the cam but it is much darker in the stall and barn, (in the beginning when we had the 3-100 watt bulbs surrounding the stall so that we could see them, our two very old roosters spent all night long crowing, and all day in a trance sleep under the trailer, so far the poor old boys have not crowed tonight, but maybe their so exhausted that they can't:), I like that we can see them better on this cam but with moving the cam back the stall wall closest to the camera covers up part of the stall, I can't go any higher with the camera we have a hayloft above these stalls, I think that if I could this cam would be perfect (so this cam might work for our stalls that don't have a hayloft over them). I'll switch to another camera tomorrow night on this stall, hopefully the next one will have a little wider view so that we can have it closer to the stall and cover more of the stall floor.
barbw - if you have time over the next couple of nights to snap a photo of the stall and post it on this thread, I think it would be a tremendous help at the end of this camera experiment for me and everyone else to remember what each camera looked like, I feel bad asking and I have no idea if doing this is time consuming or hard, basically I don't have a clue of what I'm asking you to do, please don't do this if it takes up your time or will cause any problems for you.
