You guys are wonderul, thank you to everyone, this is awesome I never thought about the fact that I could have the girls up live and go back and compare them to the nights before side by side, this is going to make the final decision so much easier and quicker, and my memory will get a break too. LOL.

Hi foalingirl, So far we have had wonderful luck using the buddy system during foaling to keep a jennet calm in the stall (I have only tried this with bonded buddies, Teyha and Daisy have shared a stall this size since the end of January), we will either remove Teyha when Daisy tells us to (becomes grumpy with her) or we will sneak her out of the stall at the stage where Daisy becomes focused on her foal. Teyha will just be moved to the next stall and there is a viewing window so that they can still touch noses and see each other. I raised Quarter Horses and Paints most of my life and I could not imagine doing this with horses, but donkeys are so different in temperament and disposition, and how they interact in the herd, with their buddies, and with each others foals, sometimes I not even sure that donkeys and horses are related, they have taught me so much.
If anyone is interested in the differences or some examples that I have noticed between horses and donkeys, their foals and how they interact with the foals in the herd, I would love to share them and can post them sometime tomorrow, please just let me know. Have a wonderful night, I'm off to bed and the cell phone will be next to me.

I love horses but I have now fallen in love with donkeys too. Deb

Camera #1 is back up, Camera #2 has flunked the test so far, it comes with a manual of all the different adjustments which I'm going to have to read, bummer, I'm so much better with plug and play or view:) I'll due a update on Daisy in a little bit.
