What a lovely video - had me in tears! I hadn't seen some of those earlier pictures before, the ones of him getting a bath really made me smile! What a horse!

I'm up to over 200 articles now, all that have been published since Saturday! You can't say that Barbaro is not popular!!! I'll also be posting the daily 3pm updates on this site - at least until New Bolton stops updating. The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) made the following announcement this morning:

Dear Equestrian Community,

We know there are hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, of you out there who would like to send words of support to Barbaro and trainer Michael Matz. A special e-mail account here at the USEF has been created for that purpose. The messages will be compiled and sent to Barbaro, Michael, and owners Roy and Gretchen Jackson at the New Bolton clinic. The e-mail address is [e-mail].

Let's all join together to wish Barbaro a safe recovery.

In addition, the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) announced that racing fans who wish to express their good wishes to Barbaro and his connections can do so by sending electronic messages via forms on www.ntra.com and at www.vet.upenn.edu/barbaro. The form at the NTRA web site is available by clicking on the link for the new “Barbaro: News and Updates” section highlighted on the ntra.com home page.
