Lukky ankle and stifle both have fluid in them. So tomorow I will call the vet and see what he says. We simply can't afford anymore at this point. I really getting tired of this up and down roller coaster. I'm hoping that by the time I get up his joints will have gone down. I don't think so but I can only hope.

Hoping for some better news today, too. I think a lot of us have been on that roller coaster and know well how hard it is to keep making decisions, day to day. Best of luck to you and Lukky!

He is back at the vets getting both joints flushed. I can't just give up, he's doing really well. Still fighting.

Sadly, I just got word that Lukky died in surgery. He fought long and hard. May he rest in peace. Much comfort to you and your family.

OH No! This is news you definitely don't want to hear. I will be praying that you will be able to overcome this tragedy. You did all you could! Now he is running with Mystery and all of the other foals that passed too early this year. Big hugs and prayers are being sent your way!

Oh, Lovely. Such very sad news. My heart goes out to you and Ginger. You did all you could and gave him all the time he could have. I'll never forget the adorable photos of him. Thanks for sharing those and thanks for fighting so hard to save him. You may have lost, but you are still heroic.
