We, also, are sad to hear this news. We have been watching Fancy's story and keeping her and colt in prayers. Just let us be comforted that even tho she is gone from earth, she is still here in her colt. Lots of prayers for him. If he fights half as hard as his mamma did, he'll be ok.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of loss. I also pray that Fancy's foal will take that beautiful strength that his mother has given him and get well and grow up handsome and strong.

This is so sad. My thoughts and prayers are with all of them. I was just at there sight and evidently the lil guy hasn't had any siezures since this morning and suckled a bit tonight. I'll be praying for him!

The little guy hasn't had a seizure since this morning. Have him on strong meds to keep the seizures down and help him stay quiet.
This morning he began having seizures and stoped suckling. Wouldn't take the bottle so the put an NG tube in. He is now on IV nutrients and resting. This evening he began trying to suckle again but they are still feeding him with the NG tube

Will update again whenever the news becomes available

He hasn't had any seizures since yesterday morning. They have him on phenabarbitol to help eleviate those. He is still on oxygen and IV fluids and nutrients. They put an NG tube in to feed him and are rotating feedings between the IV and the tube every two hours. Have him slightly sedated. He is trying to sit up and is holding his head up on his own. He is now pooping on his own too. She said he is holding in there well but not out of the woods.
Oh! And his bloodwork is still good.

I've read all of your msgs and seen all of the wonderful pics and saved them.
Just want you to know, losing Fancy would have been so much harder without you. Sherrie and I are still very heartbroken.
